At Abroad Insiders, we highly encourage every student lucky enough to be able to study abroad to do so. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity that should n  ot be taken for granted or wasted. There are a million different reasons why hundreds of thousands of students decide to study abroad each year.  For some majors it’s required, some students want the experience of immersing themselves in a culture different than their own, some just want to travel. Once someone decides they want to study abroad, the next task is deciding where to go. When making such an important decision, each student should remember that every experience is different and unique. No two students will have the same experience, despite going to the same city or being on the same program. For that reason, we strongly urge each student to do everything in his or her power to take full advantage of the chance to study abroad: meet the locals, explore, take risks. The goal of AbroadInsiders.com is not to offer a generic abroad experience, but instead we want to offer a comprehensive preview of what the average student should expect before embarking on the journey of a lifetime. Additionally, we want to make sure every student studying and/or traveling abroad knows exactly what is worth his or her time and what is not. Everything written in our pages comes directly from real students and real experiences. It is our hope that our guides will allow students to make the most informed decisions possible when choosing what city to live in and where to travel, and how to make the most of the time spent in each location.
