Abroad Insiders Best Of:

Best on a Budget: Prague

Because Prague is not part of the European Union, it’s possible, probable, and common to get beer for $1 and a great meal for $5 ($1 = roughly 20 Czech Crowns).  Beer is actually cheaper than water
Best Clubs: Barcelona

Otto Zutz, Razzmatazz, Opium, just to name a few. Some of the best in the world
Best Food: Rome

Walk into any hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Rome and the odds are in your favor.
Friendliest Locals: Copenhagen

Locals are consistently rated as the happiest people on the planet, and they love English.
Best Beaches: Tel Aviv

If you don't mind a little Kadima in your face, the beaches in Tel Aviv are some of the nicest, cleanest in the world. Beach weather will start around the middle of March and last well into October.
Best Shopping: Paris

        No surprise here.
Best For Hippies: Amsterdam

        Another pretty obvious one.
Most Like Home: London

London is often described as New York City on the other side of the world, with an accent. The sound of English can be a great thing to hear sometimes.
